This library hosts SHGIR workbooks generated from upstream security configuration guides published by providers such as CIS, DISA, CISA, ASD, OWASP, SANS, Microsoft, AWS and Google. These workbooks are intended as operational implementation and documentation tools, not republications of the original guides. Because the source material is often distributed in formats that are difficult to work with directly (for example, PDF, XML, HTML, or Markdown), the workbooks translate upstream recommendations into a consistent, implementation-friendly structure that supports review, scoping, prioritisation (MoSCoW and implementation phases), and progress tracking over time.
